History
Sean Brown graduated from the Rand Afrikaans University with an L.L.B degree. Having worked with a niche legal firm specialising in construction related insurances and guarantee insurance as well as general insurance related work and litigation, Sean has gained extensive experience in insurance litigation, insurance recoveries, general commercial litigation, drafting of contracts, and most importantly in property law and conveyancing as well as Sectional Title. Sean consults extensively on the interpretation and import of new legislation and compliance. He was also the Chairman and actively involved in the Alberton Business Forum which is a voluntary association set out to assist and mentor small businesses and young entrepreneurs.
Over the years Sean has gained a vast knowledge of property law in South Africa. He has developed a large and successful practise for statutory bodies with specific reference to Sectional Title establishments in terms of the Sectional Title Act and Home Owners Associations. This practise developed rapidly and at present Sean consults extensively with managing agents and these statutory bodies. Sean has therefore completed certificates in Sectional Title Management, Sectional Title Meetings as well as Home Owners Association Management through the Faculty of Law at the University of Cape Town.
In June 2021, Sean Brown Attorneys Inc was registered, having vast knowledge and specialising in various legal areas such as property law and Sectional Title, as well company law, construction disputes, litigation, liquidations and sequestrations, general insurance matters and eviction matters.
Vision
At Sean Brown Attorneys Inc our focus is not to be a big legal firm, but instead quite the opposite. Our vision is therefore to be a niche firm so that we are able to provide truly unique legal services and also specialise in assisting small to medium business enterprises as well home owners’ associations and body corporates. Our approach is to provide a personal and yet professional client experience.
